In Phoenix, Arizona, a fugitive that was wanted in the state of Texas for committing sex crimes was apprehended by authorities. Federal agents told news sources that they arrested the alleged sexual predator at a truck stop close to the city of Phoenix. The suspect, 63-year-old R.F., was arrested on Tuesday afternoon. According to the agents, R.F. was wanted in Texas for the criminal act of
aggravated sexual assault of a child. Back in October, a warrant had been issued by the Gray County Sheriff's Office after reports came in that R.F. had committed sexual offenses against a child who was 5 years old.
Officers learned that R.F. was residing in the Yuma area and then eventually made his way to Buckeye, Arizona where he was located at a truck stop. At this time, police are not sure if he has obtained a lawyer and they have not specified when R.F. will be extradited back to Texas.
