Southern University Athletic Director Greg LaFleur Arrested For Prostitution
Southern University Athletic Director Greg LaFleur was arrested for prostitution. According to the police report, LaFleur was arrested for solicitation of prostitution. The offense occurred at 8:30 on a Sunday evening.
The Harris County District Attorney Office stated that the offense was a "straight sex for pay" kind of offense. that is, he picked up a female and offered to pay for sex. The female, however, happened to be an undercover police officer.
LaFleur was a former football player for LSU and the NFL. He was in Houston, Texas at the time for the Final Four. He has a previous arrest for
assault family violence.
Prostitution is a
Class B Misdemeanor for the first offense. As Texas takes these offenses seriously, the second conviction is a Class A Misdemeanor, as is the third offense. The fourth offense is a State Jail Felony.
