Miami Hurricanes Football Star Charged With Sexual Assault
Miami Hurricanes defensive tackle Jeffrey Brown was charged with a sexual assault on a female. The female was allegedly intoxicated in her dorm room. The 6-foot-3, 297 pound lineman was a friend of the alleged victim. The alleged victim became ill and passed out in the defendant's bathroom. He then he helped her to his room and put her in her bed. The police allege that it was under the pretenses that he was concerned for her.
The victim fell asleep and was awakened by the defendant removing her underwear. She allegedly begged him to stop, but he refused. The defendant initially denied having sex with her, but under continued questioning he acknowledged that he did engage in sexual intercourse with her.
