Super Bowl Attracts Pimps and Sex Trafficking
During the Super Bowl this Sunday, it is believed by the Bexar County Human Trafficking Task Force that San Antonio women may have been taken to Dallas in order to make money off of the large influx of people in the area.
The police officer in charge of the task force, Sergeant Raymond Pollard, stated that he believes the demand for young girls during the Super Bowl would be on the rise, causing girls being forced into having sex to move to the area to attract more money. Typically pimps will recruit teenagers either through coercion or intimidation, forcing them to move with the group in sex crimes known as sex trafficking and prostitution.
