Bank Robbery Suspected Arrested

A Mesquite man is in police custody for allegedly robbing several banks in the North Texas area.
Ashton Charles Butler, 21, is suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank in McKinney earlier this month, and a Compass Bank in Mesquite on May 12. Additional aggravated robbery charges are also pending against Butler in Dallas, Plano, and Southlake.
Butler, who was arrested last week, remains in police custody on $1 million bail.
