Child Pornography Bust in Houston

Police in Houston, Texas have uncovered what investigators report as the largest
child pornography collection they have ever seen.
Todd Ewanko, a 46 year old pilot, is being charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. As with any Texas
sex crime, if he is convicted, Ewanko will face not only prison time, but will be required to register as a lifetime sex offender. Each image or video of child pornography is a charge in and of itself; given the size of his collection, Ewanko faces innumerable charges and may spend his life in prison.
Police report that they found six large hard drives that were encrypted and full of child pornography at Ewanko's residence. The norm, they say, is one hard drive. The first folder contained 1.2 million images.
Ewanko allegedly used Limewire to share the child pornography with others. In Texas, experts say that there are 30,000-40,000 people each month who share child pornography. Investigators are working to identify any of the victims.
