Texan Christian University Drug Bust
After six months of investigation by TCU Campus Police and the Fort Worth Police Department, 17 TCU students were arrested in a campus-wide drug bust. Four of those arrested were members of the football team: Tanner Brock, Devin Johnson, D.J. Yendrey and Tyler Horn.

The six month investigation came about after complaints had come from both students and parents having to do with drug problems on campus. The investigation revealed that several students had been selling drugs such as marijuana, heroin and ecstasy as well as prescription drugs to other individuals.
School chancellor Victor Boschini indicated in a statement that the students who had been involved in criminal drug distribution were expelled immediately.
According to Boschini's statement, this is the largest number of student arrests at one time in Texas Christian University's history. Though many students have already been arrested, officials have indicated that more arrests may be necessary as the investigation continues.
